Jessica, the assistant who placed my attachments, was amazing, super precise, gentle, and made the whole process feel smooth from start to finish. Sylviane was also so sweet and welcoming, keeping things light and making sure I was comfortable the whole time.The team here is professional, friendly, and clearly cares about their patients. "I started with Baum Braces when I moved to Newtown in 2016, I was already four years into having braces and they made the transition as comfortable and smooth as possible, I had a different set of brackets than the ones Baum typically used but it was no problem for them at all. I was in braces for a total of six years and they were always super flexible about appointments, adjustments, and any occasion where I needed something fixed, for example, a bracket had popped off and they were able to get me in the next day. If you’re new to the area or are just looking for an orthodontist, Dr. Baum and the rest of the team are amazing and I highly recommend them!"

"We went to get braces for my son, who had a LOT of uncertainty about them. He really wanted Invisalign. The staff at Baum talked to us for an hour about the pros and cons of each, helped us with the cost and didn’t bat an eye about us switching at the last minute to Invisalign and setting up a new appointment. They were fantastic and I would highly recommend them. They have always been exactly on time with our appointments and we are in and out. Very clean and wonderful staff. "From start to finish Dr. Baum and the entire staff have been exceptional in their expertise and care. At our consult, Dr. Baum spoke directly to our daughter, not “about” her to us. They are incredibly accommodating. We can go to any office and even on their day “off” there is someone who will open the office to handle emergencies. The offices are contemporary and inviting to children (and adults), making the “stress” of going to have braces put on much less of an issue. They plan fun activities, and have Facebook and Instagram pages to follow. There are game rooms for the kids to “relax” in and they earn rewards at visits which can be used toward sweat shirts, water bottles, basketballs and much more! Dr. Baum, and the ENTIRE staff, are warm, kind and supportive of both the patient and parent. I HIGHLY recommend this practice for any and all orthodontic needs!!"

"Perfection! The staff is the friendliest I've ever come across in the medical field! Dr. Baum and his staff handle your teeth as if it's their own. My were crooked and jagged and after only 8 months of using his Invisalign and visiting for check ups, my teeth are practically straight and beautiful! I would recommend Dr. Baum to anybody with orthadontal issues or for whoever needs braces. May I also add the invaslign itself is hassle free and such an amazing alternative to metal braces! "Dr Baum has been a long standing orthodontic practice in Newtown started by Dr Gellert. Me, the mama, went to Dr Gellert and now I've brought both my daughter's to Dr. Baums. It's been several years since my oldest daughter had her braces off and now my youngest daughter is here. The same people still work here which tells you this is a great place to work! Dr Baums office is fun, caring, they listen, & they're super easy to work with."
